The Tree House Island Butification Project

On March 14 we planted lots of heather around the tree house. My sister and I had over 400 heather plants which we had grown from cuttings last year. Carolyn, Dad, and I planted 151 one gallon pots of them around the tree house on Saturday. It took a long time but we enjoyed it. Dad paid us five cents a pot which equals $7.55 which Carolyn and I split. We planted them one foot apart from each other all around the tree house and around the tree house island.
When we planted the heather Dad dug the holes then Carolyn and I put and packed them in. Some times Dad had to stop and help us. We used teamwork thru out the hot day planting and watering.
