About Linda
Linda is originally from Richmond, VA area and has lived in Georgia, Florida, Australia and Tennessee. She studied are with Neil Ducette of John Tyler Community College, Chesterfield, VA, painting with oils. In Virginia she also studied with renown watercolorist, William A Youngblood of Powhatan, VA. In Australia she studied oil landscaping and portraiture at Brace College, Ballarat, Australia.
For more that a decade she has been an active member of the Parish house of Painters of Cleveland, TN, a group of local artists from Southeastern Tennessee and Northern Georgia, who paint under the direction of Margaret Richardson. This group includes many professional artists and previous art instructors.
Linda and her husband Ken reside in Georgetown, TN. They are have beach cottage in Mathews County, VA, on the Chesapeake Bay. Many of her paintings reflect the sea and shore life of the area and other areas she has lived.
